The minimum amount to open a new Certificate of Deposit is $1,000.

Your Certificate of Deposit is not an insured account. All interest earned on your investment will be reported to the Internal Revenue Service on an annual basis and provided to you on Form 1099-INT. As a result, we will need a completed Form W-9 on file.

An application and Form W-9 can be downloaded below. Should you choose to proceed, simply complete the forms and return them to our office with your investment check or ACH form made payable to the “North Texas District.”
